CAN THE COST OF DISUNITY BE MARGINALIZATION?

Mr. Chairman. Members of the High Table for this occasion & Gentlemen of the audience. Permit me to stand on the existing protocol to give my thank-you to you. I am humbled by the presence of your eminences for this occasion. This is a memory I'll cherish for a long time. Your excellencies, it is my intention to give my vote of thanks in a few lines using the following title: CAN THE COST OF DISUNITY BE MARGINALIZATION? It is worthy of note that the desire of any irresponsible government - who finds itself in power - is to have the citizens divided against one another. Why? Because therein lies their strength to marginalize, oppress and subdue. So long as leadership cannot divide the people; it cannot marginalize the people. But when constituted authority finds itself in command of a people who cannot bring themselves together in order that they may be able to demand accountability from leadership; it rejoices greatly due to the ease it had to marginalize. Th

APC'S TRUE FEDERALISM REPORT: A FRANTIC EFFORT TO WIN THE 2019 ELECTIONS?

Clearly, the subject of restructuring - which has been burning for a little while now - has generated enough heat on the polity for it to be categorized as another hotspot after the likes of the Chibok girls campaign and the unending fuel scarcity in the country at the moment. It would never have generated this kind of heat - many asserted - if the APC had done the needful a long time ago and which is why the sudden U-turn by the same APC government on the issue is received with skepticism. It will be recalled that one of the areas of emphasis in Mr. President's New Year speech to the nation this year bothered on restructuring, where he said that Nigeria's problems were more of process than structures and proceeded to dismiss the matter forthwith to the consternation of many who are now convinced that they picked the wrong guy in Mr. President in 2015. The things that put us apart are the very things that has been consistently exploited by this government. So you can imagine wh

2019: A countdown that is beyond getting the Voter Card.

The campaign that aims to quicken the consciousness of the average Nigerian into getting the Voter Card seems - of late - to be the loudest of all the campaigns in the build up to the 2019 elections. The campaign especially happened to target the Christian population and, not a few have formed the opinion that the battleline of interests that has since been drawn between Mr. President (an inept leader himself) and his entourage of ineffective Ministers with the Nigerian masses (on the other side) had something to do with religion. This subtle mixing of religious sentiments with politics as an opinion comes from the Muslim population especially but if one looked closely at the dire situation of things in the country today; he would no doubt come off with the conclusion that the alignments and re-alignments that has so far played out was about saving the Nigeria Federation more than it was about ousting a Muslim president. Unfortunately, with the upsurge in Voter Card acquisition today i

2019: Igbos Are Lazy Thinkers, Acting Strangely – Prof. ABC Nwosu

Former Minister of Health, Prof A.B.C. Nwosu, has described Igbos as lazy thinkers, who are acting strangely ahead of the 2019 general elections. According to him, Igbo were thinking that by merely supporting President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019, they will automatically become President in 2023. Speaking with Daily Sun, Nwosu maintained that it would be difficult for an Igboman to emerge as President in 2023, because, “The Igbo are acting very strangely on 2019. “They are some lazy thinkers, who think that if you let the present order continue, and after four years, you just go and pick it because it is your turn. “It won’t happen that way. If the Igbo are not aggressive about who becomes president in 2019, and aggressive that they are in the centre of power, and they are represented in the centre of power, how can power where they are not represented be handed over to them in 2023? “What if the power where they are not represented hands it over to another person? Then you

Igbo Intimidating Buhari With Biafra To Get Appointments – Sagay

Hi Friends and Well-wishers of the Nigeria Federation. What will you say to a man like Prof. Sagay if he was your father and you well know that he is not only driving himself into the hole but openly announcing to all that "TO HELL WITH ANOTHER APPOINTMENT AFTER THIS. I'M DONE?"

MASSOB'S ORDER FOR MEMBERS TO GET PVC COMMENDABLE.

18/2/2018 The recent order by the leadership of the Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) for members to get their Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) is an order that is very commendable. For me, it is a sign that the scales that once blinded a section of the Igbo ethnic stock in Nigeria and made them to see the subject of 'Igbo Marginalization' only from a parochial point of view; had suddenly fallen off to pave the way for a clearer view. In the book I recently presented to the public titled: THE ORIGIN OF IGBO MARGINALIZATION IN NIGERIA (TIME TO TAKE THE AHIARA DECLARATION SERIOUSLY) , I made the effort to impress on my target audience - who happened to be every Nigerian interested in the review of History - that the word: Marginalization, is actually divided into Self-marginalization and Outside-marginalization and, that self-marginalization funded the outside-marginalization. I explained in details how that the structure of the Igbo ethnic nation in precolonia
